Eating Art at Max’s Supper Club
Behind a non-descript door front in Recoleta, Max’s Supper Club enjoys an intimate setting within a massive space surrounded by striking displays of art. Max hosts in conjunction with Juanele AR, art-scene connoisseurs and graffiti tour-guides in San Telmo. This collaboration of the visual and oral arts provides opportunity for guests to savor art in all the senses; sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste.
Pueyrredon Who? (Impossible to Pronounce)
The most difficult Spanish word we found in Buenos Aires Argentina turns out to be both a president and a museum!
Buenos Aires Street Art
No longer defined as “graffiti”, the vandalized buildings and walls throughout BA are now decorated with “art”. And this art is so good that Buenos Aires is at the top of the “best-street-art-in-the-world” list, if there was one, along with other cities like Barcelona, New York and Berlin.
Contemporary Art in BA
Buenos Aires isn’t called the “Paris” of South America solely for its cobblestone streets and coffee culture. There’s a hip art scene here in the capital, much like Paris experienced in its heyday with artists such as Monet, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso and Van Gogh (an expat!). Right here and now BA offers us many places to display and see modern art.
Street Art Goes Underground
If you love the street art in Buenos Aires, you’ll be happy to see that the city has officially commissioned some of our best local street artists to paint a mural in a new-ish A-line subte station, Carabobo.
